Garden Competition

It may have been a disappointing summer for gardeners but our green-fingered tenants still produced some prize-winning blooms in the 2011 Garden Competition.

More than 50 tenants entered the competition, which this year included categories for best ornamental garden, vegetable garden, hanging basket and communal space.

The aim of the event is to encourage all tenants, included sheltered units and leaseholders, to make a real difference to their areas by taking pride in maintaining their garden and yards.

Neighbourhood Awards

New technology met good old-fashioned technology community spirit during the 2011 Neighbourhood Awards.

Our annual awards recognise those tenants who have made a real difference in the areas they live in.

This year, for the first time we used the social media site Twitter to provide live updates from the ceremony, including who had won and quotes from the winners.

This is the third year the awards have been held and once again there were some inspiring stories featured.

Quarterly satisfaction survey prize draw

Cestria has began operating a quarterly prize draw for anyone sending in their completed satisfaction surveys. All of the entries will be put together and the winners will be chosen at random. The lucky winners will each receive a £10 voucher so get posting, remember anyone who sends a survey back is in with a chance of winning!
