Community Benefits Fund

Cestria Community Housing Association is committed to providing financial assistance to support local groups, organisation and individuals within the Chester-le-Street area.

The ‘Giving Working Group’ at Cestria Community Housing is represented by 4 Board Members and 2 Officers and they work with the County Durham Foundation who administer the fund. 

Grants of up to £200 are available for individuals and £500 for community groups within the former Chester-le-Street district. For more information on the criteria please see below

The process for Applying:

• Complete one of the County Durham Foundation’s Expression of Interest Forms
• These can be obtained by telephone 0191 383 0055 or downloaded from the website - www.countydurhamfoundation.co.uk
• The foundation will respond within 2 weeks to your initial request.
• The request will be reviewed by County Durham Foundation and a decision will be made within 3 months
